NMScord user yashori posts their findings about a hidden set of coordinates on the Cosmos Update‘s patch notes, leading prominent modder AyyMang to travel to said coordinates during the Waking Titan milestone of the Our Journey Continues expedition, uncovering the mystery hiding in plain sight. Interacting with a secret panel by going off the marked path allowed Travellers to engage in a short series of Y/N questions with “instance16”, mimicking the questions posited to the Citizen Science Division by Loop16 at the end of Waking Titan Season 1, resulting in a secret title (instance16) being unlocked for the curious player.
Whilst the sudden reawakening of the slumbering OldGods had excited many Waking Titan participants, this mysterious title easter egg concluded the surprising saga of the 1st and 2nd clues posted by Hello Games – an homage to the mystery-solving era of Waking Titan instead of a new ARG.
