I was in school. We used to get a newspaper of sorts, I saw something about E3 and was losing it, I had a long video to stream that night. I reached back home, looked up E3, and the No Man’s Sky announcement was the first one that popped up. I don’t think I watched any other E3 announcement that day. That three and a half minute video still gives me goosebumps. That wonder, that sense of space, that feeling of ANYTHING. I mean, I can go into the game now, which is amazing, but that announcement video still makes me stare. Its a foundational moment of why I’m into sci-fi.
